ABOUT JARED
Hi, I'm Jared — I love to share, travel, and learn more about what it means to be a Christian by way of Sojourning.
IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STORY
WHAT I’M AFTER
Not the expert. Just a witness.
I lived most of my life just “being” until I began to understand what it means to be in progress. Becoming, if you will.
Some of my deepest growth came through listening to other people, learning from their lives, and seeing how God can use ordinary relationships to shape us.
I believe we are called to encourage one another, speak truth with humility, and sometimes offer a gentle nudge toward faithfulness, while remembering that God is the one doing the real work.
I consider it part of my spiritual act of worship to belong, to help repair what I can, and to honor the courage it takes for people to try again. I do not have a finished map, nor do I claim to have all the answers.
I do, however, have a growing conviction that honest attention can be a form of love.
That is my witness.
WHAT i strive to pay attention to most
Stay curious
Let the first question be a real one, not a shortcut to certainty.
Keep showing up
Make room for the ordinary work of becoming, especially when no one is watching.
Leave room for grace
Trust that a life can be honest, unfinished, and messy, while still moving toward something good and God-honoring.
